Mandarin Speaking Doctor (HPCSA Registered) at International SOS

THE ROLE

International SOS is the world’s leading medical & security services company. Our global services include medical and risk planning, preventative programs, in-country expertise and emergency response for travelers, expatriates and their dependents of over 70 percent of the Fortune 500 companies. The purpose of this job are to provide medical services as per contractually agreed scope of work to a client of ours based in Woodmead, Gauteng.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This shall consist of, but is not limited to the following:

• the provision of primary outpatient care

(following protocols and under the guidance of the contractor’s coordinating doctors),

• emergency medical care at Advance Life Support level to stabilize the patient,
• limited diagnostic testing,
• basic emergency medical response on site to stabilize the patient,
• preparation of medical evacuations
• participation in medical evacuations when deemed feasible.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 Years Medical practice experience in GP or Emergency medicine
• MBChB
• HPCSA Registration (non-negotiable)
• ACLS Certification 

LANGUAGES:

• Mandarin (non-negotiable)
• Excellent English (spoken and written)
