 Key Performance Areas

• Drive high efficiency, excellent quality, and minimal waste across operations
• Collaborate effectively with support functions to ensure optimal production
• Manage cost-effective labour in line with MANMAPS standards
• Analyse historical production issues to mitigate future risks
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions, and operational specifications are implemented and adhered to
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams
• Empower staff through goal setting and performance management
• Implement effective business strategies
• Manage operational budgets and ensure cost effectiveness
• Support CapEx projects and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ, QMS, and food safety standards

Minimum Requirements

 Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ Production/Operations/Manufacturing Management experience in a Unionised FMCG environment
• Food Manufacturing experience highly advantageous
• Experience with Continuous Processing and High-Speed Packaging Machinery is a strong advantage

 Qualifications

• Completed tertiary qualification: National Diploma / BTech / BEng (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering) or Production Management
• Additional qualification in Production Management would be an advantage
