Marine Diesel Fitter at Sea Harvest Corporation (Pty) Ltd

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• To diagnose problems and repair diesel engines and ancillary equipment
• To apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests, to ensure the systems is working properly, following up to repairs

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The following trade tested qualifications will be considered

• Mechanical Fitter / Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic
• A minimum of 5 years' experience
• Must be qualified with a valid trade test certificate
• Must have large diesel engine overhaul experience
• Ability and acumen to work independently
• Strong mechanical background
• A strong knowledge and strong commitment to Health and Safety processes
• Sound communication skills
