    Marketing Campaign Manager

    • 2+ years of experience in digital campaign management
    • A team player that thrives on collaboration
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Attention to detail – to be certain there are no mistakes in our communications
    • Analytical mind – You will need to acquire data and use it to target selected groups, as well as analyse the success or otherwise of campaigns.
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • Understanding best practices or industry-related compliance laws - POPI, GDPR etc
    • HubSpot certified
    • A great understanding of marketing automation platforms, workflows, and journey optimisation
    • Project management skills - working with competing deadlines, managing Virgin Active's output effectively and intervening when things go off track
    • Coolness under deadline pressure

    A day in the life (your duties and responsibilities)     

    • You will be accountable for managing the calendar of communication, continually prioritising the needs of various stakeholders and ensuring we're running according to schedule.
    • Work closely with external stakeholders to gather requirements and objectives and our internal creative studio project manager to brief designers and/or writers.
    • Oversee, prepare, and manage outbound campaigns (email & push notifications) from end to end, working closely with relevant stakeholders to gather required inputs.
    • Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of outbound marketing campaigns.
    • Implement dynamic content mailers with a focus on continuous performance optimisation (e.g. A/B Testing)
    • Quality Assurance – Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and provide formal sign off if necessary. Ensure that our brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels.
    • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs back into teams who can learn from them.
    • Maintain a high level of awareness around best practices from tactics to case studies that help us to continually improve delivery rates, open rates and ROI.
