Marketing Manager at The Shoprite Group of Companies

The largest retailer in Africa with 35 million shoppers, more than 2 800 stores and 150 000 employees is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with strong business, commercial and digital acumen to join a dynamic Marketing team. The role is pivotal in driving the business and bouquet of brands forward into an exciting and modern era of retailing, in a highly competitive industry.

• The successful candidate would have a B.Com (Marketing) or similar qualification.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant business and marketing experience is required for this role.
• The incumbent should also have experience in Project management; Client account management and Cross-functional team management.
• He/She should have a Strong business and commercial acumen and be comfortable presenting at Board/Senior Executive level.
