    Marketing Services Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To position commercial strategies and tactics, to ensure commercial objectives are achieved, within the relevant product portfolio in support of the company’s overall mission and objectives. Inspire and lead innovations within Gyproc in order to enable Gyproc to realise its commercial contribution and product leadership ambition.

    Key responsibilities : 

     Brand

    • With the Head of Marketing,  formulate and implement a comprehensive brand plan in line with commercial and trade calendar and overall communication strategies.
    • Support development and coordinate product launches, customer events and brand events.
    • Continuously monitor industry trends and propose new ideas to support SG SSA brand/s.
    • Co-ordinate the annual update of the SG SSA pricing catalogue.
    • Co-ordinate SG SSA technical literature creation and updates.

     
    Communication

    • Plan, develop, implement and measure SG SSA marketing, communications and public relations activities, both internal and external, delivering measurable projects and campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality.
    • To develop and implement specific collateral to support sales, marketing, brand development, communications and public relations activities.
    • To work collaboratively with a diverse staff team to create and manage cross organisational, integrated marketing communication plans.
    • Continuously measure the effectiveness of all marketing and communications campaigns against ROI and specific KPI’s and make changes where appropriate.
    • To provide writing and editing support for outbound client communication including promotional materials, reports, emails and newsletters to ensure marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines. 

    Leadership:

    • Lead, coach and develop your direct reports in order to increase their capability, commitment, drive and performance output so that the organization reaches its objectives, executes its strategies and progresses towards its vision. In addition, as a means of achieving the aforementioned, create an environment built on trust, open and transparent communication, innovation and pro-active behaviours.
    • Ensure adherence to Quality, Environmental Health and Safety requirements of the Organization

     
    Finance:

    • Accountable for input cost control and budget within the SG SSA Marketing Division
    • Accountable for the meeting and exceeding of operational performance and financial targets as set by the Techno Marketing Director.

    Social

    • Champion assigned social upliftment programmes within SG SSA Marketing

    Corporate Governance

    • Accountable for ensuring rigorous Corporate Governance aligned to the SGCP Group standard
    • Accountable for Risk management in the SG SSA Marketing Division

     
    All such duties and/or activities assigned by management/board as and when required.
                                               
    Qualifications required:

    • Relevant Bdegree in Marketing
    • Postgraduate Degree in Marketing or Business Administration would be an advantage

       Knowledge and Skills 

    • Minimum 5 years’ demonstrable experience, ideally but not limited, experience within industrial/ manufacturing environment.
    • Proven success in Marketing, new business and commercial ability
    • Client management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
    • Advanced Computer Literacy
    • Highly organised and analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, writing skills a must
    • Action orientated and ability to multi-task
    • Ability to develop good working relationships internally and externally
    • Highly creative and full of ideas
    • Quick thinking and adaptable
