    Master Driller - Mogalakwena Mine

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric certificate/ equivalent
    • Blasting Certificate
    • N2 plus Section 13 Trade Test as a Qualified Artisan (Advantage)
    • Drill Rig Operator Certificate
    • Competent A is required
    • Valid Driver’s License

    EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    • 3 years related experience as a Master Driller – trackless drilling
    • Underground drilling skills
    • Mesh installation support with Drill Rig
    • Knowledge of SANDVIK and EPIROC underground Drill Rig
    • Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that the area of operation & competence of the team complies with MHSA & regulations
    • Ensure compliance with all legal & other operational requirements
    • Ensure strategic on the job training & coaching
    • Drilling, Blasting, Cleaning and Support Operations
    • Ensure that the production process is carried out in accordance with the legal requirements
    • Ensure appropriate usage of machinery, equipment, tools & material
