Material Mixer at BIC

Job Description

Material mixer and forklift driver to attend to all moulding machinery for mixing material, minimize machine standing time, have machines run at all times, continuously improve the process of mixing material for all machines

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

• Make sure to check raw materials every week and supply quantities that needs to be ordered 

• Check quality of master batch and raw materials

• Continuous improvement to improve house keeping

• Identify the problem with raw materials resolve such issues

• Identify safety issues and ensure they are resolved immediately

• Ensure operators have material and that they dont wait for it to run machines

•  The candidate must be prepared to work weekends and overtime.

• Be able to dive a forklift.

KEY PERFOMANCE INDICATORS

• Ensure production targets are met by mixing correct master batch and material. 

• Ensure Efficiency and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Matric and  Raw material Certificate

•  At least five years working experience in mixing raw materials.

•  Thorough knowledge of material and material mixing

•  Good understanding of ISO standards and  Works instructions.

•  Do stock count and stock take

•  Good understanding and knowledge of HSE( health safety and environment) in the workplace

•  Must have a valid fork lift license
