Materials Coordinator at NOV

• Materials Coordinator will Plan, Control the distribution of supplies and record in the system updates on the location of parts and materials. The Materials Coordinator will work in a busy warehouse as part of the warehouse team with in NOV a global energy company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support all internal departments with issuing of stock / non-stock items, WIP job cage material and consignment stock (Including satellite stores - Tool store, Welding store, paint store, Internal Masloc and Mine stocks) as per operational requirements.
• Report any queries to management before goods leave the warehouse
• Co-ordinating the loading of goods and materials
• Ensure that all packaging and related materials are of an appropriate standard - refer to NOV specifications & standards
• Ensure that all Inventory is stored correctly and preservation done when required as per relevant location
• Processing of all requisitions required for warehouse inventory stock levels to support relevant departments within NOV
• Ensure that all Inventory Stock levels are up to date and Expired products are red tagged and reported to Management (CPO report, consumables, rubber goods)
• Conduct Cycle count and stock counts as per schedule and procedure
• Loading of spare parts, and processing updates as required incl list and cost pricing
• Assist with biannual stocktake and cycle counts as per operational requirements

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in related areas such as supply chain or inventory control

Experience

• Administrative experience
• Working experience in a production environment or inventory control
• Experience with annual finance stocktake
