Mechanic Production at Nampak

Job Description

• Operating Side Wall machine at an optimum production speed.
• Ensuring that all colours conform to colour standards and working targets.
• Ensuring that correct material is applied and corresponds to the sequence on the work’s order
• Maintenance of equipment to specifications
• Controlling spoilage within plant targets
• Supervising assistants
• Safety and Housekeeping

Job Requirements

• Grade 12
• Trade certificate in Lithography (Metal Decorating)/Printing (Will be an advantage)
• Sound knowledge of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Operations would be advantageous.
• Analytical abilities with a proven track record in problem solving & decision making.
• High level of quality and safety awareness.
• Must be able to visually distinguish differences in colour.
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in a printing production environment.
• Experience in working on the Side Wall machine will be an advantage.
