A detail-oriented and technically skilled Mechanical Draughtsperson is sought to join an established Engineering team within a leading organisation.
You will be responsible for translating engineering concepts and sketches into highly accurate manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
In addition to drafting, this role requires handling costing and quotations for new and existing projects, ensuring designs are aligned with project budgets and manufacturing capabilities.
The successful candidate must possess a SolidWorks Certification with 2-5 years’ work experience in mechanical drafting and estimating experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
You will also require a solid understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., sheet metal, machining, or steel fabrication), standard drafting principles, and basic material costing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
Essential SolidWorks Certificate(s).
Experience/Skills –
2 to 5 Years of mechanical drafting and estimating experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
A solid understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., sheet metal, machining, or steel fabrication), standard drafting principles, and basic material costing.
