Mechanical Engineer at Ntice Sourcing Solutions

The Role

• My Client, a global market leading company is looking for Mechanical Engineers to be based at their Richards bay site

Job Specific Experience

• 3 years' experience as a Mechanical in heavy industry environment
• 2 years applicable supervisory position will be advantageous
• Experience within the Pulp & Paper industry will be beneficial
• Shutdown and project management will be added beneficial

Qualifications & Expertise

• BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree / B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Government Certificate of Competency is advantageous
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA will be preferable

Functional Outputs

• Lead maintenance team, including condition monitoring
• Responsible for legal compliance
• Maintain updated equipment long term plan and risk register
• Optimise maintenance strategies on equipment/process level
• Root cause failure analysis and closeout
• Compile and manage annual budget
• Set goals and achieve Maintenance KPIs
• Manage SAP maintenance system and compliance to business processes
• Short term planning as well as planning for the annual shut
• Responsible for safety, health and environmental issues, including incident investigations
• Must have track record of shutdown and project management
• Understanding of maintenance principles and strategies is essential
• Personnel development and assessment
• Accurate reporting
