Mechanical Fitter- Mossel Bay at Sea Harvest Corporation (Pty) Ltd

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE(BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• To diagnose problems and repair diesel engines and ancillary equipment.
• To apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests, to ensure the systems is working properly, following repairs

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• The following trade tested Qualifications will be considered:
• Mechanical Fitter/ Diesel Fitter/ Diesel Mechanic.
• A minimum of 5 years experience.
• Must be qualified with a valid trade test certificate.
• Ability and acumen to work independently.
• Strong mechanical background
• A good knowledge and strong commitment to Health and Safety processes.
• Sound communication skills.

• Medically fit to work on board fishing vessels.
