Perform Blood Bank technical procedures which include patient sample testing, preparation, and issuing of blood products according to Work Instructions;
Check and reconcile patient information provided against the request form, prepared product, computer data, and issue documents to ensure that the correct product is issued to the correct patient;
Coordinate processes with reference to communication, checks, queries, document control, and record keeping.

Registered with HPCSA in Blood Transfusion
Computer literate
The working hours are variable, shift work is required with weekend work and call-outs.
