You Will Be Part of Growing Team

• In this role, your will be given on-job learning opportunity to understand how plant maintenance is done and how equipment downtime is minimized in order to improve plant availability and overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

Your Challenge:

Safety: Accountable for following Corteva Safety rules, safe work practices/procedures and housekeeping in the Maintenance Department

 Maintenance – work related assignment

• Learn how to do non-specialized maintenance plants under supervision of qualified millwright
• Assist other Millwrights to execute job cards and workorder as assigned
• Do Initial fault finding and root cause on breakdown and machine defects
• Assist in carrying out equipment repairs and learn how to do identify equipment faults (mechanical or electrical)
• Maintain all tools in a safe and proper manner;  
• Ensure all spares used are recorded and are correctly as drawn out of stores.
• Learn how to execute plant modifications.

Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

• As Maintenance Millwright Intern at Kroonstad SPSC, the incumbent will report to Maintenance Supervisor, with other millwrights, handymen, artisans and maint planner as colleagues.
• He/She will have working with various production personnel, quality and EHS personnel..

Qualifications
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• Grade 12 or equivalent with Qualified Millwright Trade
• Basic knowledge of machinery safety requirements
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (incl learnerships)
• Excellent Communication (writing, speaking) skills
• Basic Computer skills – efficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
