Coordinate and assist with the implementation of the new MRO Software into FlySafair Maintenance on behalf of Maintenance Planning;
Provide specialised advice on new and updated business processes required to ensure a smooth and optimised operation of the MRO software for the department;
Identify software optimisations and ensure that solutions are tailored to departmental and business needs;
Conduct system tests and ensure that the system runs efficiently;
Test and implement any new patches after the GoLive;
Provide system support to staff within the maintenance planning and technical records departments and end users within technical departments;
Analyse system performance and advise on any improvements required to meet FlySafair's evolving business needs and or requirements;
Implement system enhancements and design changes to custom software;
Maintain system knowledge;
Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure operational software support efficiency and asset management;
Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, policies and guidelines;
Provide expert advice on any system-related matters;
Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures;
Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance;
Analyse Stakeholder needs and identify improvement initiatives;
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster meaningful interactions.
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
Technical trade in aviation (Mechanical or Avionics) (Essential);
Technical Diploma (Advantageous);
8-12 years of aircraft planning or records experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
Experience implementing MRO software (Essential);
Experience working on B737 aircraft type (Advantageous);
Knowledge of MRO system functionality (Essential);
Knowledge of aircraft documentation, i.e. MPD, Boeing issued or OEM Documentation (Essential);
Knowledge of creating amending and business processes;
Willing to work overtime;
Willing to travel domestic and international;
Willing to be available on a standby basis where required;
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
