The National Key Account Manager Industrial maintains a direct selling role with South African based key accounts in the Industrial Vertical. Develops a mix of global and local accounts with a predefined portfolio by liaising with counterparts in other Regions, the Global industry champion and all business field stakeholders in South Africa. Develops industry specific business development competence in South Africa. Directly responsible for upselling and cross selling across all KN services (excl CL) on all accounts within the assigned Vertical and contributes overall knowledge and market intelligence.
Your Responsibilities
Develop industry specific business development competence in South Africa.
Retain and grow the value of the key customers, through relationship management with both, customers and internal stakeholders
Opportunity development of all Kuehne +Nagel's core services,
Engagement of key customers in any of Kuehne + Nagel's new product development efforts
Maintain/grow profitability of key customers
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Ensure all information related to the key customers is current and accurate in the KN CRM system and that all visibility is maintained for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to relevant stakeholders, through Monthly and quarterly business reviews
Your Skills And Experiences
Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or relevant NQF related qualification is essential
Bachelors / First University degree, will be an advantage
No less than 2 years’ experience in a global, regional or national key account capacity, with proven a record of business development.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the customer vertical - Industrial.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Have proven verbal and written communications skills.
