Network Administrator at Mr Price Group

Do you have experience in Data Center storage operations, MS server monitoring and virtualisation tools? We're looking for you to be our next Network Administrator.

We require a minimum of 3 years in a technical role (implementation and maintenance) in the below technologies:

• Microsoft Windows Server operating system and virtualization technologies (This is a must have)
• Hardware server platforms, hypervisor, networking and storage.
• Installation, upgrade, patching of server hardware and platform software.
• Data backup, data recovery, DR, monitoring implementation, troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization.
• Stong Active Directory skills

Specific Responsibilities include…

• Document installation and configuration standards for the Windows environment.
• Capacity Management and Planning and ensuring scalability of the environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems.
• Maintaining Windows environment through practical and simple maintenance plan.
• Ensure services and data in Windows environment are backed up and fully restorable.
• Test, Plan and deploy hardware microcode and operating systems patches.
• Test, Plan, deploy and upgrade server operating system.
• Work with senior technical support to facilitate analysis of and resolution of technical issues.
• Participate in the engineering of secure operations environment and delivery of mrpIT projects.
• Follow and enforce established change management processes in alignment with ITIL.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure planning, building and testing.
