Requirements

Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 level of numeracy and literacy
• 2 – 3 years’ experience within a similar role.
• Tertiary qualification on OHS will be an advantage.
• Computer literacy essential (MS Office)
• Must be able to travel to all NRC facilities.
• Work under pressure in a consistently changing environment
• Driver’s license is necessary.

Key Performance Areas (KPA)

• Maintain all OHS database.
• Conduct accident investigations and manage risk registry.
• Conduct OHS related audits.
• Reporting of adverse events.
• Prepare and present OHS related training.
• Manage first aid, health and safety equipment and associated inventories.
• Health care waste management.
• Any ad-hoc duties as and when required.
• Demonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the NRC Way.
