Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner - Greenacres at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• To market and coordinate Occupational-, Environmental- and Forensic Pathology and Infection Control projects.

Requirements:

• National Diploma: Nursing, SANC Registration in Relevant Register, Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)

Required Experience:

Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS PowerPoint, Knowledge: MS Word, Nursing experience within a hospital and/or laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects in order to ensure effective administration of all relevant projects
•  Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Market Occupational-Environment- and Forensic Pathology and Infection control in order to market the services and image of Ampath, Perform administrative tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the Occupational Health department
• Perform specimen collection and nursing procedures in order to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection
•  Perform Voluntary counselling and testing to ensure that patients / clients are accurately informed (VCT)
