Job Description

With the broadening and increasing mandate of ABSA Africa CIB across the African continent, coupled with the ongoing changes in the regulatory landscape, a singly-minded approach to supervisory risk and controls is essential in ensuring that there’s uniformity and alignment within BAGL CIB. Consequently, a BAGL CIB Front Office Risk & Controls function has been established to support the Front Office businesses on how the relevant Supervisory & Conduct risks and controls are managed. As such we are looking for a seasoned Risk professional candidate (degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification) with  3+ years detailed front office knowledge and experience aligned to Banking, Corporate, and Client Engagement & Trading. The individual will have a robust understanding of current regulatory environment that CIB operates in coupled with strong negotiation and stakeholder manager skills.

Education

• Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
