Description

Responsible for cost-effective feed formulation, raw material, and final product quality management on site as well as overseeing the quality management system on-site, technical support to procurement and sales departments.

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
- BSc. Agric (Animal Science)
- MSc. Agric in Animal Nutrition Science will be an advantage
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Maintain formulations and adjust based on raw material availability, and quality.
- Communicate and coordinate all cost movements and the causes thereof.
- Lead Food Safety Team and manage feed quality
- Management of laboratory staff
- Research and product development
- Technical support to mills and Clients
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
- Sound technical knowledge of Animal Nutrition Science
- Feed Formulation experience will be an advantage
- Administration Principles
- Management Principles
