    Operational Nutritionist - Paterson

    Description

    Responsible for cost-effective feed formulation, raw material, and final product quality management on site as well as overseeing the quality management system on-site, technical support to procurement and sales departments.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • BSc. Agric (Animal Science)
    • MSc. Agric in Animal Nutrition Science will be an advantage

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS        

    • Maintain formulations and adjust based on raw material availability, and quality.
    • Communicate and coordinate all cost movements and the causes thereof.
    • Lead Food Safety Team and manage feed quality
    • Management of laboratory staff
    • Research and product development
    • Technical support to mills and Clients

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Sound technical knowledge of Animal Nutrition Science
    • Feed Formulation experience will be an advantage
    • Administration Principles
    • Management Principles
