• An opportunity has arisen for a highly energised Operational System Implementation Officer. The incumbent will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment of new systems or upgrades to existing systems to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Sciences or a related field.
• A business analyst or project management qualification is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of software implementation or project management experience

Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement, support, maintain, and continuously improve the operational systems.
• Maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the operational systems.
• Monitors operating environments, responds to incidents and problems as well as planning for growth.
• May recommend changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.
• Participates in testing efforts and coordinates feedback of test results.
• Analyses and reports on operational metrics to understand performance and to ensure success in process improvements.
• Identifies ways tasks can be automated.
• Documents, monitors, reports, and manages the resolution of calls logged on the systems helpdesk.
• Monitors production, outputs, and services to ensure that SLAs, and other quality metrics, are being met.
• Provides user support, ensure calls are logged and actioned timeously and resolved within SLA.
• Provide end user training.
• Drafting scope documents for functional development required.
• Project management including business case design, issue log tracking and risk registers.
• Coordination of centralized communication between the business and 3rd party software vendors.
