Job Description

• Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in fruit cold storage? We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven individual who understands the demands of operating a fruit cold storage facility and can take ownership of daily operations.
• This is a key role for someone who can work independently, make sound operational decisions and ensure that all activities run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fruit cold storage facility, ensuring efficient and effective running of all activities.
• Manage operational processes, resources and staff to maintain productivity and service delivery.
• Ensure appropriate storage conditions and handling procedures are maintained to protect fruit quality.
• Monitor operational performance, identify challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Coordinate workflows to ensure operational requirements and deadlines are met.
• Maintain compliance with relevant operational procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Take accountability for operational decision-making and proactively address issues as they arise.
• Work closely with management to support business objectives and maintain high operational standards.

Requirements:

• Proven Operations Management experience within a fruit cold storage facility (essential)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transport
