Operations Officer Integrated Health - Midrand at Dis-Chem Pharmacies

Job Description

• Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for an Operations Officer Integrated Health to join the Head Office team.
• The purpose of the role is to support the operational activities and reporting functions related to Healthcare funding, insurance, other financial services and related programmes. Assist with data preparation and analysis, process monitoring, customer service oversight and operational improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Matric or Senior Certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Health Informatics, or related field
• Minimum 2 – 3 years' experience in an operational support, reporting or coordination role

Advantage:

• Experience in Healthcare funding, insurance, other financial services or retail environment

Key Responsibilities...

Operational Support:

• Assist in completing and monitoring day-to-day operations.
• Support internal coordination with Retail, Dispensary, Clinic and other support teams for operational
  alignment.
• Support training coordination and materials for internal stakeholders.
• Support and monitor in-store lead generation.
• Track and follow up on deliverables from stakeholders.
• Maintain operational documentation including SOPs and process flows.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure ongoing legal compliance and monitor adherence to relevant
  regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal product support.
• Support, monitor and report on retention initiatives.

Customer Experience & Query Resolution:

• Collaborate with stakeholders on systems, processes, and complex queries affecting policyholders to
  ensure smooth and effective operations.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure that internal stakeholders have the right knowledge
  and skills to deal with queries.
• Liaise with and monitor stakeholders to ensure process adherence and service standards.
• Monitor and report on trends related to queries and complaints.
• Monitor, manage and report on escalated queries and complaints.
• Inform relevant stakeholders in the event of a critical incident promptly.

Project & Process Coordination:

• Provide administrative and analytical support for operational projects.
• Track project milestones and escalate delays or resource gaps.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in implementing operational changes.

Research and Reporting:

• Research market's consumer preferences to inform marketing strategies. 
• Keep abreast of the current market trends and developments and ensure relevance.
• Monitor campaign performance metrics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness, reach, and engagement.
• Research and analyse member data for Dis-Chem Cover products to create comprehensive reports and use the information to improve on future marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Routinely analyse data and troubleshoot to understand issues and identify solutions to develop key marketing metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting goals.
• Sales Funnel Understanding: Deep knowledge of user journeys and customer behaviour across each stage of the funnel with an ability to optimize for acquisition and retention.
• Affiliate Program Knowledge: Experience with partner portals, affiliate tracking tools, and channel performance management.
