A dynamic FMCG and distribution-focused company is looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Representative with strong external sales capability and the ability to manage and grow a diverse customer base across multiple retail segments.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain an existing customer base across the Western Cape region
Conduct regular client visits (Monday–Thursday) and build long-term customer relationships
Drive sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
Service a diverse client base ranging from high-end hospitality clients to informal retail (spaza shops)
Prepare and manage daily/weekly sales administration and reporting (office-based Fridays)
Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory as portfolio expands
Ensure consistent communication and service delivery to all allocated customers
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall regional growth objectives
Represent the company professionally during all client interactions and site visits
Requirements:
Proven experience in external/outbound sales (FMCG, wholesale, or distribution preferred)
Strong customer relationship management and account management skills
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)
Willingness to travel extensively within the Western Cape
Strong communication skills in English (Afrikaans and/or Xhosa advantageous)
Mature, self-managed, and target-driven individual
Ability to work independently and manage a geographic sales territory
Experience dealing with both high-end retail and informal market customers advantageous
