Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting Financial Planners in all their administrative tasks
• Thorough understanding of current FICA and FAIS legislation
• Prepare financial plans and provide analysis and recommendations
• Gather client data, including risk tolerance and financial goals
• Identifying existing clients whose portfolios need to be reviewed
• Input client data to financial planning software
• Research and select appropriate financial products or investments
• Preparation of Financial Plans (Death, Disability, Retirement and Estates)
• Maintain client records and ensure compliance
• Maintain Client Relationship Management system
• Assist with new business development and marketing efforts
• Respond to client inquiries

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant financial qualification / or qualification applicable to the long-term insurance industry (advantageous)
• At least 5 years experience in the Insurance Industry (advantageous)
• 3+ Years of experience in financial planning and analysis preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel (advantageous)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deadline driven, good organizing and planning skills
• Must be able to speak and understand Afrikaans and English due to client base
