Personal Trainer - Durban at Virgin Active South Africa

Responsibilities:

• Develop personalized fitness programs for clients based on their individual goals, fitness level, and medical history
• Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients, providing guidance, motivation, and support throughout the workout
• Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness practices
• Monitor client progress and make adjustments to their fitness programs as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe training environment for clients
• Stay current on fitness trends, certifications, and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:

• Certified Personal Trainer (REPSSA Recognised)
• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field preferred
• CPR/AED certification
• Previous experience working as a Personal Trainer with a diverse clientele base
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness goals
