Pharmacist at Anglo American

Here is an opportunity to join the team by providing support and assisting the Hospital Manager with:

• Effectively managing pharmaceutical services provided to the Anglo American Coal Highveld hospital and health centers
• Ensuring understanding and compliance to procedures and balancing the medical register on a quarterly basis
• Replenishment of stock levels and compilation of monthly injury report
• Accreditation with COHSASA and Green audit rating from ABA, DOH SAPC, COHSASA

This role is at the Highveld Hospital in Witbank and is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Pharmacy Manager.
Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy (NQF Level 8)
• Registered Pharmacist with the SAPC in terms of the Pharmacy Act, 1974 (Act 53 Of 1974)

Experience

• In-depth understanding of relevant medical legislation
• Compliance according to CPD
• Understanding of pharmaceutical processes and procedures, including stock ordering processes
• Knowledge of current pharmaceutical standards and trends

Additional Information:

• Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport
• Computer literate
• Able to perform periodic standby duties
