Pharmacist Intern at Lenmed Private Hospitals

Main Focus Areas

• Assist in medication dispensing and patient counseling under supervision. Support inventory management and compliance with SAPC standards. Participate in ward rounds and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

• Dispense medications accurately and compound preparations.
• Counsel patients on drug use, adherence, and side effects.
• Manage stock, conduct drug utilization reviews, and join multidisciplinary meetings.

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

• BPharm degree from a recognized university.
• Current SAPC registration as Pharmacist Intern.
• Strong pharmacology knowledge and communication skills (English; Afrikaans advantageous).
• Computer literate; shift work including weekends.
