About the job

• To assist in managing a MediRite pharmacy and, if necessary, take responsibility as the pharmacist in charge when required.

• People and enabling capacity management / Resourcing, Manage cross functional relationships e.g. with prescribers, suppliers, Head Office, Store manager, Cash office
• Resolve escalated operational issues; Budget management.

LEADERSHIP

• Staffing decisions
• Developing and tutoring of staff, interns and assistants
• Motivated and discipline team

Qualifications    
Essential

• BPharm / equivalent qualification
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

Desirable

• Registered tutor

Experience    
Desirable

• Experience working in a retail pharmacy

• Dispensing knowledge
• Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation

• Good communication and listening skills
