A vacancy exists for a Pharmacy Clerk, based at Life Groenkloof Hospital reporting to the Inventory Manager. The successful candidate will contribute to effective functioning and co-ordination of the Stores to the required standards.
Critical Outputs
Accurate goods receipting against invoices
Investigating of queries relating invoices and MIR6
Assist with investigation of GRIR reports
Addressing purchase price variances
Adhering to all SOP’s relating to stock and its management
Planning and capturing of cycle counts for stock take
Assist with close out of month end reports
Investigation of unrecorded liabilities
Daily filing of Invoices and other documentation
New item code requests
Unpacking and checking of stock
Process ward and theatre stock requisitions.
Receiving of stock from suppliers.
Management and capturing of invoices.
Assist with the timeous supply of surgical supplies to all wards and departments.
Assist with stock takes and month end reporting.
Assist with daily cash-up processes
Assists with updating consignment valuations
Requirements
Grade 12
Computer literacy, including ability to use Microsoft Office products.
2 – 3 years relevant experience. A working knowledge of a stock control system is preferred
An enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized individual with initiative and ability to handle pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite
