    Pharmacy Sales Representative

    JOB OBJECTIVE

    • To call on assigned customers to promote and sell the company’s products as well as the image, values and goals of the company, in order to achieve targets / budgets.

    TASK DESCRIPTION

    • Product knowledge - always Keep abreast and maintain product and market knowledge
    • Ensuring achievement of daily call rates
    • Territory management including implementation of territory business plans
    • Customer relationship building and maintenance i.e. accurate customer details
    • Achievement of product / product category / customer sales targets / budgets
    • Maintain comprehensive call and customer record administration
    • Timeous submission of all relevant reports and submission of all daily feedback on activities relating to the market to the Line Manager
    • Implement & execute marketing, sales & promotional strategies
    • Strict adherence to budget allowances

    EDUCATION AND KEY EXPERIENCE

    • A relevant tertiary qualification (B.Sc. Degree or Advanced Diploma or Sales / Commercial degree/diploma) from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum 2 years Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative experience
    • Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license with no endorsements & have own transport
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent negotiator with strong analytical skills, an ability to use own initiative and must be a self-starter
    • Computer literacy with CRM platform experience will be a distinct advantage
    • A proven record in customer relationship building within the Independent Retail and Corporate Pharmacy Channel, will be an added advantage
