PHP Full Stack Developer at SoluGrowth Pty Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Implement and optimise backend logic using object-oriented PHP (preferably within Laravel).
• Build dynamic frontends using JavaScript (preferably Vue.js), HTML, and CSS (preferably Bootstrap).
• Design and interact with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Collaborate closely with other developers to ensure quality and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Participate in sprint planning and technical discussions.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
• Take ownership of features from concept to release
• Maintain documentation and support deployment using modern tooling (Vite preferred).

Essential Skills

• Essential SkillsStrong proficiency in object-oriented programming with PHP
•  Familiarity with testing tools like PHPUnit
•  Solid understanding of JavaScript and CSS
•  Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimisation
• Proficient with Git version control 
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise code
•  Strong understanding of web application security, performance, and design principle
• Preferred (Nice to Have) Knowledge
• Laravel or other modern PHP frameworks
• Vue.js and its ecosystem (e.g. Vuex)
• MySQL and query optimisation
• MongoDB and document-based modelling
• Experience working with GitHub for collaboration and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Vite as a frontend build tool
• Styling using Bootstrap and Sass (SCSS syntax)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack web development, ideally in a SAAS startup / high growth
•  Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven track record of building and deploying web applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skill
