    Physical Rehabilitation Therapy Lead Manager at Nurture Hillandale

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • As the Therapy Lead, you will support the day-to-day coordination of the interdisciplinary therapy team (including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy). You will help ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based rehabilitation care and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
    • This role is primarily clinically focused, with responsibility for supporting team functioning, maintaining care standards, and contributing to quality outcomes.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide day-to-day clinical support and guidance to members of the therapy team.
    • Assist in coordinating patient treatment plans within the interdisciplinary team.
    • Support the monitoring of patient progress and therapy outcomes.
    • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Contribute to the onboarding, mentoring, and development of therapy team members.
    • Work collaboratively with nursing, medical, and support teams to deliver integrated care.
    • Engage with patients and families to support participation in rehabilitation programmes.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Up-to-date registration with the HPCSA (independent practitioner) as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
    • Proven experience in the rehabilitation of neurological, orthopaedic, and spinal cord conditions.
    • Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.
