WHAT DO YOUR DUTIES ENTAIL?

Actuals Reporting:

• Oversee and perform the monthly actuals reporting to management reporting, including quality checks, analysis of variances, providing of commentary and feedback on queries.

Preparing Data Base Reports:

• Design, enhance, scrutinise and validate data base reports that are used for reporting and analysis.

Preparing and Presenting on Pricing:

• Monthly preparation and presentation on pricing (i.e. return risk adjusted capita) in conjunction with sales, marketing and credit departments. 

Preparing and Presenting on Portfolio Risk:

• Monthly preparation and presentation on portfolio risk in conjunction with sales, marketing, credit and operations departments 

Operative Planning:

• Oversee and perform the annual operative planning, and monthly forecasts updates.

Monitoring Cost Centres:

• Monitor cost centre allocations, budget variances and investigations.

Proving Input on Ad Hoc Projects:

• Provide input to ad hoc projects in conjunction with other departments.

Pricing Validation:

• Perform pricing checks on campaigns, and special deals.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 3 - 5 Years’ experience in a position within a financial controlling, management reporting or business analyst environment    
• Experience within Financial Service Industry
• Degree/Diploma – Business / Financial
• Postgraduate Qualification preferred
• Very good to excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
