    Planning Officer

    • We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Witbank, Mpumalanga area.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for producing production and saleable schedules and conducting short- and medium-term planning for the Dragline, Truck, Shovel, Drill and Blast as well as water management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generating production reports.
    • Producing short term plans and facilitating the execution of such plans.
    • Liaising with the operations team to deliver on mine planning operational needs.
    • Mine Planning (Short Term to Medium Term).
    • Mine Scheduling.
    • Conducting reconciliation between planned and mined areas.
    • Facilitating and conducting the pre-mining risk assessment process

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant Degree.
    • Driver’s license (Code EB/08).

    Minimum Experience:

    • Completed Graduate Development Programme or equivalent.
    • Experience in a production environment.
    • Experience in scheduling will be advantageous.
