Power Apps Developer at Ovations Technologies

• We are seeking experienced Power Apps Developers to join a large regulatory institution. You’ll work alongside experienced developers and business users to create, customise and maintain business-critical applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in building real-world business solutions using Power Platform and looking to expand their career in low-code/no-code development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customise Power Apps to meet business needs.
• Automate business processes using Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with data sources like Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Dataverse, Excel, Dynamics AX, and SharePoint.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for data visualisation and insights.
• Implement solutions for business processes such as employee onboarding, termination, and HR monitoring.
• Develop flows to automate data uploads/downloads from external sources (e.g. S3, blob storage, Excel, database stored procedures).
• Support existing Power Platform applications by enhancing features and fixing bugs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Perform validation checks and develop macros/scripts for advanced logic processing in Excel.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Junior Developer: 3 years experience
• Senior Developer: 5 + years experience
• Essential to have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate).
• Experience working on data integrations and automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies like Dynamics 365, Excel Macros, and Power BI.
• Understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, and data handling.
• Experience with process improvement using low-code solutions.
• Exposure to chatbots, omnichannel communication, and invoice/OTP generation features is advantageous.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
