    Principal Sales Representative - SportsMed / Pretoria area

    Job description

    We are looking for a Principal Sales Representative to join our Sales Team and look after SportsMed activity in Pretoria area.

    What you will do:

    • Represent the company in a positive light and maintain a professional image
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of medical products and procedures, engaging in consultative clinical conversations
    • Act with integrity, exceeding customer expectations, and suggesting proactive improvements
    • Construct comprehensive business plans with SWOT analysis, SMART objectives, and contingency plans
    • Conduct workshops with CSSD staff, theatre sisters, and doctors on a daily basis
    • Utilize consultative sales techniques to develop business and detail financing options for customers
    • Understand the commercial workings of the government and private sectors, leveraging this knowledge for business opportunities
    • Win market share and support cross-franchise colleagues in winning business
    • Recognize buying signals, react appropriately, and consistently close deals
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine deliverables, demonstrating sales leadership skills
    • Work under limited supervision, taking on an informal leadership role within significant projects

    What you need:

    • 5+ years Sales experience in Sportsmed field with Diploma in related field.
    • Higher Education preferable.
    • Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations a must.
    • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
    • Outgoing and persuasive manner and ability to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values.
    • Confidence and persistence.
    • Patience and self-motivation.
    • Analytical and planning skills.
    • Flexible approach to work in order to adapt to changes.
    • Strong teamwork and networking skills.
    • Commercial and business awareness.
    • Valid driving license.
