Process Engineer at Resourgenix

Job Summary:

• As a Process Engineer, you will work closely with team members to support the design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of projects and operational processes. You will be responsible for assisting in the development of efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control, and identifying areas for improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with limited experience looking to grow in a dynamic optimizing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Design & Development: Assist in the design, modification, and optimization of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Assist in the identification and resolution of process issues to ensure smooth operations. Provide technical support to production teams.
• Process Optimization: Help in evaluating current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements to maximize throughput and efficiency.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all processes are well-documented and comply with industry regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Testing & Validation: Participate in process testing, pilot runs, and performance evaluations for new processes or changes to existing processes.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with production, quality control, maintenance, and other engineering teams to implement and sustain process improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to propose innovative solutions for process enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of process engineering principles and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with process simulation or CAD software is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Internship or project experience in process engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Familiarity with risk assessment practices.
