    Procurement Manager

    Requirements:

    • Must have 5-8 years Professional and Management Experience with a Focus on the Automotive Procurement Industry
    • Knowledge of  Procurement in the Manufacturing Automotive Industry and Supply Chain Management
    • Technical (specialist) degree Purchasing / Procurement Management, or Equivalent / Bachelor / Master with good technical understanding
    • Managing People and Systems.
    • Able to Plan and Action

    Background knowledge:

    • Knowledge of relevant Automotive Industry Customer Specifics e.g. Processes, Procedures, Policies, Guidelines and Legislation
    • Understanding of the Stainless/ Mild Steel business
    • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Controls
    • Proven Record of Achieving Corporate Objectives
    • Possess Strong planning, Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills and a Numerate Approach to Management.

    • Data Preparation, KPIs, Annual Planning, Reporting Directly to the Plant Manager.
    • Apply Strategic Leverage in the Supplier Base with Strong Service Level Agreements for Quality and Supply of Product
    • Continuous Improvement Related to Sub Supplier Performance Quality, On Time Delivery, Costing and
    • Ensure Adherence to System Requirements and Customer Specifics. AITF, MSA and MMOG
    • Ensure Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures, HS&E and Environmental Requirements.
