    Procurement Manager: CVM, Transformation and Change Communication

    The Job

    We have an opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager to work with the Group Chief Procurement Officer and Business Executives on major Strategic Procurement and Operational Sourcing initiatives in RBB.

    The main objective of this role is to deliver strategic sourcing initiatives by:

    1. Translating strategy and business requirements into executable projects by
    2. Driving execution,
    3. Removing road blocks,
    4. Coaching and guiding team and business stakeholders on deriving commercial value,
    5. Performing the function of a specialist pre-contracting and post contracting procurement value chain service within the Customer Value Management, Communications, Transformation and Change and Virtual Channels clusters of RBB.

    Specialist knowledge and/or experience required:

    • Detailed knowledge of the characteristics of Alternative Value Partnering approaches, Customer Value Management systems, Marketing and Communications, Mobile Services and Transformation Technologies for Banking Systems procured.
    • Experience authoring, administering, negotiating, initiating and terminating contracts with regards to  Banking Value Chain.
    • Detailed knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management practices
    • Exposure to and Knowledge of Banking Systems and Technologies
    • Knowledge of planning, scheduling, and project/deal control.
    • Work closely with the Category Heads to ensure sourcing projects are informed by and aligned to category strategies.
    • Craft deal memos which succinctly and articulate the commercial deal and contract commitments to facilitate timely business approvals.
    • Provide analysis, guidance, and assistance on a variety of Procurement requirements within RBB.
    • Intermediate knowledge is required a of all Microsoft desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Specialist skills required:

    • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with a high level attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines.
    • Excellent team building skills with the ability to work independently and with others.
    • Demonstrated ability to clearly & concisely convey information through verbal communication.
    • Demonstrated competency in creating clear and concise written documentation that fully summarises all aspects of a procurement transaction
    • Skill in interpersonal relations.
