Product Compliance Manager at Booyco Electronics

Main Purpose of the Job

To identify potential company related risks before they occur so that risk-mitigation activities may be planned and invoked as needed limiting possible adverse impacts on achieving company objectives.

Education, experience and competencies

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or management 
• National Certificate in Risk Management NQF 4
• At least 3 years' experience
• Product knowledge: Booyco Equipment.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Develop operational risk policies and standards for risk management.
• Develop and manage a forward-looking risk assessment roadmap for the business.
• Implement strategic plan to prevent, eliminate and mitigate risks around the company's products.
• Conducting detailed risk assessments & review of risk assessments.
• Coordinate with senior management in performing product risk reviews.
• Identify, track and monitor product risk issues for business units.
• Report product risk issues and solutions to senior management on regular basis.
• Communicate solutions & risk mitigation to the affected business units.
• Assist in identifying and evaluating risk areas across the product implementation.
• Conduct in-depth investigations to identify issues in product offerings.
• Develop strong relationship with key stakeholders and business partners by addressing issues/concerns in timely manner.
• Maintain documentation for risk management and risk policies and procedures.
• Compile all relevant reports
• Regular Branch & Sites visits to identify risks & find solutions to mitigate risks identified
• Responsible for all Section 21 Duties
