Product Delivery Manager at Electrum

The Opportunity:

• This role is a great opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join a high-growth tech company, on our journey to become an industry-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) company. You will have the opportunity to gain deep domain expertise in the rapidly developing payments industry and play a key role in mission critical projects at some of South Africa’s largest corporates.

The Role:

• As product delivery manager you will be responsible for turning our product roadmaps into reality. Day to day management of the release plan. Working closely across the organisation; Product, Engineering, Customer delivery, Techops and Marketing, to deliver new versions of working product based on product priorities.
• The ability to control complex projects, and build strong relationships across multiple teams is essential for this position.

Requirements
Your Responsibilities

• Translate product roadmap into items for delivery and create a clearly defined release plan
• Day to day management of the release plan for our 3 core products
• Coordinating full lifecycle software projects including; marketing, engineering, techops and customer delivery
• Ensuring that product releases are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and of good quality
• Provide clear visibility and reporting of progress against release plan
• Build strong relationships with product, engineering teams and customer delivery
• Guide the team to ensure the delivery plan is met
• Facilitate and run project meetings such as status updates and retrospectives
• Maintain and improve delivery process
• Growing your industry knowledge
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of Electrum

What you’ll need:

• Graduate degree or the equivalent in working experience
• 4+ years experience as a project manager or delivery manager on software projects
• Background in tech/information technology industry
• A track record of successful delivery working across multiple teams, on multiple products in a fast paced, market driven environment
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Increase your odds by having:
• Product delivery experience
• Prince 2, PMP or Agile training
• Financial Services/ Payment /Fintech industry experience
