    Product Manager Company NameAlcon

    Development, implementation and accountability for operational plans, which optimise profitability, market share and revenue growth for a brand (s) in short and long term.

    Major Accountabilities:

    •  Responsible for accurate management and control of S & OP 
    •  Proactive development of marketing and promotional mix to meet brand objectives and customer needs. 
    •  Monitor business performance and external environment via appropriate tools to deliver corrective action as required meeting business objectives. 
    •  Liaisons with external agencies to deliver initiatives for brand and ensure deadlines are met. 
    •  Accurate management of A & P budgets for portfolio. 
    •  Creates and delivers operational plans appropriate to life cycle of brand to optimize return for Alcon. 
    •  Delivery of sales targets per band. 
    •  Full accountability for portfolio and deliver of all programs related to it. 
    •  Understanding and use of marketing principles to deliver to customer needs. 
    •  Extensive Vision Care and market understanding to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques/ tools. 
    •  Support and Build sales team to achieve team goals. 
    •  Management of external agencies to meet team goals. 
    •  Acts as brand champion to create enthusiasm and focus internally and with external customers and agencies. 
    •  Local travel with field force to provide in field coaching with sales staff and ensure strategies are adhered to and executed accordingly. 
    •  QA/PV: Required to notify the Local Vigilance Officer/or delegate of any adverse events and/or quality complaints within 24 hours (including whilst on leave and on public holidays) from receipt or being made aware of such. Adhere to local relevant SOP as may be determined

    Key Performance Indicators:

    •  Manage and optimize relationships with all relevant external agencies, KOL, patient (and other) groups through development of effective relationships. 
    •  Full financial accountability of Advertising and Promotion budgets within 5 % 
    •  Full understanding and use of key market research approaches and giving recommendations and acting on results that create positive business outcome. 
    •  Deliver 90 % of operational plan, on time and to a high standard. 
    •  Manage all components of a key brand/ portfolio or components of a priority brand. 
    •  Build and develop strategic forecasting from a robust S & OP model. 
    •  Launch a line extension, new campaign, commercial programme, and/ or defence plan.

    Minimum requirements


    • University degree or equivalent in Science (Optometry preferred), Marketing or Business qualification English 
    •  3 – 5 years field sales experience or related marketing services experience and brand management experience. 
    •  Product executive or related marketing services experience: 12 – 18 months.
