Product Manager – Lending and Insurance at Salt South Africa

The role

• Own and drive the insurance product roadmap end-to-end – from strategy through to delivery and optimisation.
• You’ll focus on improving customer journeys across onboarding, underwriting, and claims, while working closely with engineering, actuarial, risk, and compliance teams.

What you’ll do

• Define and deliver the product roadmap
• Improve claims, onboarding, and customer experience
• Lead cross-functional delivery from idea to launch
• Work on integrations with insurers and partners
• Track and optimise key metrics (take-up, claims efficiency, retention)

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years as a Product Manager in fintech, insurance, or regulated environments
• Strong end-to-end product delivery experience
• Exposure to insurance products is a plus
• Data-driven, commercially aware, and confident with stakeholders
