We are seeking a skilled and proactive Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, engineering design updates, and cross-functional collaboration. The role will also provide technical support to the sourcing team to ensure components meet engineering and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing capabilities, change management experience, and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily production operations by identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Create, update, and maintain engineering drawings in accordance with company standards.
Manage and execute Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and ensure proper documentation and communication across departments.
Provide technical engineering support to the sourcing/procurement team, including supplier evaluations, technical clarifications, and specification reviews.
Participate in design activities, including minor product and process design improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance) to resolve technical issues.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for production and quality issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
Experience with engineering drawings (CAD) and document control systems.
Knowledge of Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR processes).
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and sourcing/procurement support.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
