Production Planner - Chloorkop at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Ascertain demand for manufactured products from the demand planning meeting or via the buffer stock levels replenishment & sales back orders.
• Review of buffer stock levels on quarterly basis, and update them in Syspro.
• Raising of production jobs to fulfil the demand, and hand the issuing/production department.
• Update the weekly production schedule on continuous basis; with input from production, procurement and issuing.
• Monitor production plant and give feedback to customer care / sales on the status of production jobs.
• Assist production with production admin including:
  • Checking and completion of production jobs.
  • Assist with stock adjustment onto jobs.
• Assist with cycle counts in terms of confirmation of stock counts.
• Assist with stock take in terms of capturing of stock take; confirmation and reporting of variances.
• Stand-in for issuing stores supervisor when needed, including:
  • Releasing and replenishment of picking slips.
  • Booking in of packing and bulk stock into Syspro.
  • Updating of expiry dates for raw materials in Issuing store.
• Monthly reporting on the following:
• Production Yields.

Qualifications & Experience    

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on ERP systems specifically for inventory management and demand planning.
• Experience in production work environment.
• Experience at managing working capital.
• Computer literate and must have advanced MS Office training.
