Production Repair & Maintenance Management 1 at IDEMIA

Purpose

• This role plans, designs and implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of production site facilities and equipment.

Key Missions

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to keep machinery and equipment in good working condition.
• Coordinate routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or operational issues and ensure quick, effective repairs.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the production line and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve equipment utilization.
• Oversee the upkeep of the plant’s infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facility components.
• Ensure the plant meets all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Implement safety protocols, provide safety training to employees, and enforce compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
• Managing inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies needed for plant operations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervising a team of Maintenance Technicians.
