Liaise with Central Planning regarding development of short- and medium-term production plans and shift patterns.
Develop production schedules and manage changes as necessary –weekly and daily packaging and brewing/racking schedules which align to central planning requirements taking into account production constraints whilst optimally utilizing production resources
Monitor container supply to production through correspondence with warehouse, depots and raw materials and factor into production plans
Monitor new container injection and allocate accordingly
Monitor raw materials supply to production through correspondence with raw materials controllers and factor into production plans
Monitor full beer stock levels and plan production accordingly through interaction with depots and Central Planning
Report and agree production volumes, reliability and efficiencies –daily, weekly and monthly
Communicate and network with key stakeholders
Co-ordinate revision of and application of Brewing and Packaging operating standards
Represent the planning aspects on project teams relating to NPD and/or promotions
Monitor and schedule required maintenance in a cost-effective manner whilst delivering the required volume output
Minimum Requirements
A degree or equivalent tertiary qualification. Ideally an Industrial Engineering qualification
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, or within a similar function
An in depth understanding of the SAB value chain process (Production and Distribution Value Chains)
Knowledge of the Supply Network Planning process, and manufacturing execution systems will be advantageous
Basic financial knowledge
PC Literacy –basic Excel and database management skills
Knowledge of Production and Distribution value chains
